Live in October
October 17, Sat: Ardmore, PA – Melodies Cafe | RSVP & TICKETS
In the infamous words of early Renaissance poet Sir Mix-A-Lot: you get sprung. And Spring has got me totally Sprung. I’ve got so much great news and tons of exciting adventures to last you all the live-long May. I’m a songwriting contest finalist, I’m recording in Brazil, AND i’m coming to see you.
I’m packing up my piano and getting ready for my East Coast tour, which starts TONIGHT in Brooklyn. I’ll be performing in living rooms, sight-seeing in Nashville, kazooing at the Eden Kazoo Factory, and i hope to see you along the way! RSVP for the show nearest you, or just follow my roadtrip adventures online (on TW, FB, IG) because that’s what social media is for.
I’m really excited to be getting back to writing and recording and creating and driving and performing this year, so stay connected on the Facebook & Twitter & Instagram machines for the latest posts and pictures from the road. Do you have recommendations for things to do/see/eat while i’m hanging out in your town? Leave a comment and let me know! And be sure to share my travel destinations with your friends in other cities – it’s always nice to meet friends-of-friends in new places.
In honor of April’s Holocaust Remembrance Day, my grandfather, Cantor David S. Wisnia, and I will recount our recent travels in Poland, with stories from Warsaw and Auschwitz, and music that we will perform together in two very special events that are free and open to the public. There was much interest in hearing more of my grandfather’s remarkable story and more about our trip, so – for all of you in the Philadelphia/Princeton & NYC area – i am excited to be able to present these events.
MON, April 13: Congregation Beth Chaim – Princeton Jct, NJ
WED, April 15: Temple Shaaray Tefila – New York, NY
For more event information, check the tour schedule.
I have recorded all my posts from the trip on my blog so you can still go back and read them, starting with the first entry HERE, plus a #MyPolishWisnia Photo Album of the journey on Facebook.
You can also read a NJJN article about our return home HERE.
