MAOZ TSUR: OutMusic Award Nominee
I am nominated for another OutMusic Award this year! For the past two years in a row, the LGBT Academy of Recording Artists has awarded me with Outstanding Jazz Song of the Year. This year, i’m happy to represent the Instrumental Hannukah Jazz contingency (hooray for niche genres!) with last year’s holiday single release “Maoz Tsur (Rock of Ages)” – nominated for this year’s OMA again in the Outstanding Jazz Song category. The event is being held this year Sunday, Dec 16 at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas! While I can’t attend the event, you and I can keep up with the event live and online at www.outmusicawards.com.
And you can download Maoz Tsur for FREE when you sign up for the mailing list:

The Hometown Heroes WSTW holiday album is now available! 33 tracks by local Delaware Valley artists, including Avi Wisnia’s “Maoz Tsur (Rock of Ages).” Lots of great original songs and some traditional ones too. $10 for 33 songs, and it all goes to benefit Toys for Tots.

Warm Me Up – Final Shows of 2012
I took some time to be thankful this past weekend. At our best moments, and even when it is hard to feel thankful, there is much to be thankful for. I want to thank you for every show you come to, every video you watch, every message you send me on Facebook, every ridiculous link you tweet me on Twitter. I love connecting with you, wherever you are, and you encourage me to keep doing what I love doing. I have a feeling it’s going to be a cold winter, so come warm me up by coming to one of these final (FREE) shows in 2012!
