I’m teaming up with On Demand Programs & Events to bring a brand new cabaret series to the dazzling Flourish Cafe in Newtown, kicking off the First Friday program with a special concert in tribute to the great piano performers of our time. “Award-winning singer/songwriter and dynamic piano player Avi Wisnia presents a concert event paying tribute to the most famous piano-pop performers of our time. With his smooth vocals and signature artistry, Avi Wisnia interprets the catalogs from beloved icons who really made the piano sing – from Billy Joel to Stevie Wonder, Carole King to Norah Jones, Elton John to Marc Cohn. This show highlights both the songs and the stories behind the songs, giving us a new appreciation for the monumental piano classics that have become the soundtrack of our lives.”
