The Philly Sings Philly Concert Returns!
 
Hear an array of Philly-based artists pay tribute to songs written by the most famous of all-time Philadelphia musicians. I last performed for this series back in 2014, and it’s so much fun. Come and celebrate the Philly music community with a free concert, now at World Cafe Live.

This month’s event, Tues Oct 18, features Avi Wisnia, Chelsea Reed and the Fair Weather Five, and many more surprise guests.

This weekend, come hang out with Avi Wisnia & Friends as they present an afternoon of free live music for the community. Gather around the West Philly porch on Chester Ave, and enjoy music from singer/songwriter Avi Wisnia and his Philly songwriter friends with lots of special guests throughout the afternoon.

Part of the 2022 West Philly Porchfest, an annual outdoor celebration featuring musicians of all kinds playing free shows on porches throughout the neighborhood. Created by and for West Philadelphia residents, the festival celebrates the community’s broad musical and cultural diversity, an eruption of music and revelry with over 140 porches and 300 musical acts participating throughout the day. About The Artists:
AVI WISNIA is an award-winning singer/songwriter, finding inspiration in 1950’s west-coast jazz, acoustic American folk, Brazilian bossa nova, and contemporary piano pop. Imagine John Legend meets Sara Bareilles if they had a lovechild in Brazil. Avi tours in support of his newest studio album, Catching Leaves, performing in prestigious venues around the world – from the Philadelphia Museum of Art to The Kennedy Center in DC to concert tours in Japan, Poland, and Brazil. D’NEAL is an up & coming singer and songwriter making a name in the Philadelphia scene. His style seamlessly merges soul and pop influences. He is featured on the song “Habits” with fellow artist Paula B.
