Summer 2014: Vampire Discrimination
Summer means garlic… because garlic means Garlic Festival (sorry, vampires).
My return to the Gilroy Garlic Festival in July is just one of many performances around the country this summer, which will include cool spots like Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, fancy spots like the American Folk Art Museum, huge spots like the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, California spots like San Francisco’s Hotel Utah, and a House Concert Tour down to North Carolina!

[Full disclosure, Vampire Discrimination is also one of my #FantastyBandNames.]

There’s still time for you to host an Avi Wisnia House Concert this year! It is a great way to provide an evening of entertainment for your friends, and a sure way to get me to play your favorite songs. I’ll be passing through these states in these months in particular:

September – NY, NJ, PA, DE

also booking Spring 2015
Special shout to Trudy & Ed Chara of Music On The Mountain in Brackney, PA for hosting me this month (see picture). If you are interested in hosting your own house concert, or if you want to learn more, email: AWHouseConcert@gmail.

Brain Tumor Awareness Month
May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month!
#BTAM
Today nearly 700,000 people in the United States are living with a primary brain tumor, and more than 69,000 others will be diagnosed this year. Brain tumors are often deadly, impact quality of life, and change everything for patients and their loved ones.
This is a cause that means a lot to me. Show your support by helping spread the word, donating to fund research, and tweet #BTAM or share the link & photo here. And take a moment to appreciate your support system, your family & friends, and all those you love and who love you back.
