Pass Over Is Here!

“Pass Over” is a foot-stomping folk-rock sing-along song I wrote a few years ago. It was recorded with my amazingly talented friend Shawn Fogel of Golden Bloom. The two of us played all the instruments, sang all the harmonies, and had a lot of laughs in between. I hope you can hear the fun we had creating it.

 

I was inspired to write this song one summer at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival in upstate NY, while caught in a downpour, waiting under a tree in the middle of a field for the raging storm to pass so we could start making music again. In that moment, I wanted a song we could all sing together to help coax out the sunshine. It ended up being so much bigger than that one moment, it became a sing-along anthem for dark days and knowing that better times are ahead.

Until now, the stand-alone single has only been available through my website. But that changes today! As of April 1, the song will be available worldwide on all music platforms – just in time for the sunny side of Spring. (And yes, in time for the Passover holiday too.)
